Join Gustavo, Gus, or Rosa for a 2.5-hour English-language cooking class in central Madrid. Work with a group of up to 15 to prepare 10 tapas, including patatas bravas, gambas al ajillo, tortilla, and churro-like torrijas, then sit down to eat with sangria. An apron is included.

“The location is a very good setup for cooking classes, and was able to accommodate a lot of participants. The cooking area is a large L-shaped space, which allowed for two groups to work on the same dish. The downside of the large space and the number of dishes (10 plus a bonus dish when I was there) is that tasks are divided. Gustavo, our chef instructor, gave good instructions but because of the number of dishes he went fast. Hopefully they will send out recipes. The other nice thing about the space is that they have an extensive bookstore of cookbooks upstairs. It's definitely worth checking out.”

Join Chef Lola at a private eatery near Pacifico Metro for a 3.5-hour, hands-on Madrid tapas class. Prepare croquettes, black-ink squid paella, Russian salad, and ajoarriero cod, then share the meal with local wine. The menu may change with the season, and the group is limited to 10.

“Chef Lola was wonderful! We were 8 at dinner. She engaged with all of us and accommodated vegetarian and aversion to bell peppers tastes. Wine was poured freely! Our dinner was a Russian Salad (basically a tuna salad), croquettes, paella both vegetarian and squid based, and a cod with tomatoes onions and peppers (and one without the peppers). Tea and coffee was served. The evening was not rushed. We learned lots about the dishes and where the food is sourced. We all went home happy and with recipes. Highly recommend this class.Read more”
